Gateway IP66¶

The gateway takes care of communications between the server and other Savee devices. It is possible to pair up to 127 devices per gateway. The gateway is powered by 24 V passive PoE, but it is also possible to use a PoE power injector with an adapter. This is an outdoor version designed to withstand the effects of nature's elements.

Network configuration is managed through a USB type B connector, using a standalone configuration tool.

It is required to mount the device with the cable outlets facing downwards (antenna on the PCB facing up). This assures a higher range of wireless communication between the system devices, otherwise there could occur device communication problems. In the case of mounting several gateways, assure that there is a distance of at least 100 mm between two gateways.

Repeater IP66¶

A device designed to extend wireless mesh communication within the Savee network. The repeater does not control any loads or perform phase switching; its sole function is to strengthen and forward the wireless signal, ensuring reliable communication across larger installations or areas with obstacles. This is an outdoor version designed to withstand the effects of nature's elements.

It is required to mount the device with the cable outlets facing downwards (antenna on the PCB facing up). This assures a higher range of wireless communication between the system devices, otherwise there could occur device communication problems.
